Together, they invested in creating the Makers Lab at NIC Peshawar, a space designed to equip startups with customized technical expertise and practical tools. This initiative highlights how industry and academia are coming together to drive innovation and support entrepreneurial growth.
Universities and colleges are key partners in fostering entrepreneurial mindsets, working alongside NIC Peshawar to encourage innovation and creativity. Through initiatives like entrepreneurship workshops, hackathons, and art of pitching sessions, they play a crucial role in shaping the next generation of innovators.
This year’s GEW at NIC Peshawar, titled “Entrepreneurship as a Career – Building Futures through Innovation and Education,” was a testament to this collaboration. Students from schools, colleges, and universities came together to practice the Lean Model Canvas, refining their skills in business ideation and problem-solving while learning to transform ideas into impactful ventures.
Our newest initiative in collaboration with Parwan-e-Khanum, highlights the importance of female inclusion in the center. This initiative focuses on improving female hygiene and ensuring tailored comfort for our women-led startups. Moreover, events like our Fireside Chat with female student entrepreneurs delve deeply into the challenges and opportunities surrounding women’s empowerment in entrepreneurship. These conversations not only inspire but also provide a platform for budding female entrepreneurs to connect with seasoned investors, ensuring that their ideas are nurtured and brought to fruition.
